With the Ultra 16" UV Coater, mobility, ease of make ready, operation, and wash up are all very simple, taking little time. Printers with our unit will be able to offer salable UV Coated products instantly, in any production environment, regardless of space limitations.Significantly more compact than even the smallest footprint Coater currently on the market, the price point on the Easy Coat 16" is well under the cost of competitive Models, and the UV coated product produced by the unit is equal to, or better in every way to higher priced units. "We think the Easy Coat 16" UV Coater will be especially useful for print providers that have digital capabilities but do not need a large Coater," said Paul Hynes, General Manager of Ultra Systems. "Our unit will allow these print providers to fill their customer's needs for substantially less investment and space that a larger unit requires." The extremely reliable, very well built machine weighs 1200 pounds and has been designed to conform with environmental and workplace safety standards. The unit will accommodate an 16" W sheet x 22"L, and will coat approximately 2000 (handfed) sheets an hour or about 4000 pieces per hour (w/ feeder). Both the operation and clean-up are very simple, allowing anyone in the facility run the Coater. The Ultra UV Easy Coater protects the ink and substrate from scuffing and damage--especially through mail systems--while enhancing the color through the UV Coating process, allowing printers to provide a turnkey answer to selling a protected print.
