Xpress Printing recently purchased a Standard Horizon SPF/FC-200A booklet making system from Paper Handling Solutions.
We met up with (right to left) Josh Rovig, Mike Konze, John Merva, and Richard Sprung to ask a few questions about their newly installed booklet making system.

Q: What was the criteria you were searching to fulfill?
A: We needed to improve our booklet making production. Specifically, we were looking to increase efficiency, improve makeready times, and meet a wide range of product sizes.
Q: Why did you decide to buy the Standard Horizon SPF/FC-200A?
A: Our previous booklet maker was a Horizon and it was a workhorse for 20 years. We recognize the Horizon brand as the top-of-the-line booklet making system, so we decided to make another long term investment. The level of support and backing we have received from PHS in the past was also a determining factor.
Q: What are your future plans with the machine?
A: The Horizon SPF/FC-200A will open us up to more business. It will decrease costs so we can win more jobs and make more money on existing jobs. Also, the automation capabilities will improve both our efficiency and bottomline.
