Most pre-owned equipment, purchased from PHS, carries a warranty and prices usually include installation and training. All pre-owned equipment under goes a full inspection to ensure that any worn parts are replaced and all safety features are functioning according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Paper Handling Solutions offers a wide range of Ryobi automated conventional printing presses from single color to multi -color use. Ryobi presses range in sheet size from two up, portrait or landscape, to eight up 42 inch presses. Most models can be ordered with optional equipment such as: perfecting, coating, UV coating, and UV printing. Multi- color presses are equipped with: console, CIP, ink volume setting, PDSE and PDSE Spectro (print density control system and auto spectrophotometer) auto wash up and auto blanket cleaning.

Number, Perf & Score...
Digital printed paper stocks can crack if they are not creased before folding. This can also be true with certain stocks printed on offset presses. Our complete line of Graphic Whizard creasing, scoring, perforating and numbering machines can solve these issues. Folding machines from PHS also include the ability to score and perforate. Skip perfing is available on all Creasemaster Impact Scoring Machines as well as most Graphic Whizard numbering machines.

Production Booklet Systems...
PHS offers the full line of Standard/Horizon on demand finishing systems. The SPF-200 and Stitchliner systems can produce up to 5000 books per hour. These machine offer automatic set-up and complete JDF capability. The HOF-30 set feeder can be used with either system for finishing stitched sets of pre-collated material. Set integrity is maintained through OMR or Barcode reading with the HOF-30. Standard/Horizon finishing systems are well known in both digital print and offset installations. Saddle, corner and side stitching or stapling machines from Standard/Horizon can also be used with the VAC 100 flat sheet collator.

Perfect Binders...
Standard/Horizon Perfect Binders offer automatic setting and on the fly change over with JDF capability. These automated binding systems can be used for production binding or individual book production. Single clamp perfect binders, 4 clamp perfect binders, 7 clamp perfect binders, 9 clamp perfect binders, 15 clamp perfect binders are capable of producing 180 to 5200 books per hour with book binding up to 65 mm ( 2.55 inches ) thick. We offer systems that work with both polyurethane reactive ( PUR) or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) glue. BQ-150, BQ-270, BQ-470, SB-07, SB-09 and larger are available for demonstration.

Desktop Binding Systems...
The explosion of the digital print market has created a need for decentralized binding. PHS offers complete coil and comb binding solutions from major manufacturers such as PDI/Performance Design Inc. Also know as Rhino Tuff, these machines are designed for hard work. In addition to paper punches, with interchangeable dies, PDI has coil inserters and twin loop wire closers. All steel construction makes PDI the logical choice for plastic coil and wire binding applications. For tape binding we recommend the Standard Accubind Pro. The Accubind uses pre-cut binding strips available in multiple colors and widths. The Accubind is an automated tape binding machine that produces professional quality tape bound books. PHS stocks a full inventory of plastic coil, plastic comb, twin loop wire and tape binding supplies. We also offer plastic cover and clear cover sheets for immediate shipment.
